PREPARATORY QUESTION
If the people closest to you died today without Christ, would you be able to say you faithfully warned them?

Most Christians understand the gospel. Far fewer share it.

 

We pray for family members, care for friends, and enjoy relationships with colleagues, yet many believers never move beyond silent concern. We hope people will somehow find Christ without anyone clearly explaining who He is and what He has done.

The Bible does not support that expectation.

God told Ezekiel that a watchman who sees danger and remains silent bears responsibility for his failure to warn. While believers are not responsible for another person's response to the gospel, we are responsible for our obedience in proclaiming it.

Silence is often rooted in fear. Fear of rejection. Fear of awkward conversations. Fear of damaging relationships. Yet Jesus never called His followers to comfort. He called them to faithfulness.

Many people reject evangelism because they think it means being aggressive or argumentative. It does not. Sharing Christ can be as simple as telling someone what Jesus has done in your life, explaining the gospel clearly, or inviting someone to read Scripture with you. The goal is not to win arguments but to present Christ.

 

The reality is sobering. Every person you know will spend eternity somewhere. Time is moving. Opportunities are passing. Conversations that seem uncomfortable today may become impossible tomorrow.

The gospel is good news, but good news is only helpful when it is delivered. 

Do not confuse caring about someone's soul with actually speaking to their soul. Love that never speaks the truth is incomplete love.

Precious one, God has not called you to save anyone. He has called you to be faithful. Be faithful to warn those who need to be warned. Be faithful to share the gospel with the unsaved. Just be faithful.

I receive wisdom, courage, and love to share Christ faithfully. I receive Your help to speak the truth clearly, leaving the results in Your hands. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
