TOPIC: FLYING BLIND
THEME SCRIPTURE: "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?" — Romans 10:14
PREPARATORY QUESTION
Who in your life is heading toward eternity without Christ, and what are you doing about it?
Near the end of World War II, a badly damaged American B-29 bomber was barely staying in the air. The pilot was dead. The copilot was wounded. The instruments were destroyed. He could not tell his altitude, speed, or direction. He was flying blind.
Then two American fighter planes appeared. They flew alongside the crippled aircraft and guided it safely to friendly territory.
That picture mirrors the spiritual reality around us. Many people we know are flying blind. They may be successful, educated, moral, or religious, but without Jesus Christ they are lost. Their destination is not uncertain. Scripture is clear: apart from Christ, people remain under judgment.
The question is not whether they need help. The question is whether we will come alongside them.
One of the most powerful ways to guide people to Christ is to live out loud. Your conduct either strengthens or weakens your witness. People watch how you handle pressure, success, conflict, temptation, and failure. A consistent Christian life gives credibility to the message you proclaim.
A second responsibility is to know your Bible. Good intentions are not enough. If someone asks why Jesus is the only way, what salvation means, or why they should trust Scripture, will you have an answer? The believer who neglects God's Word is unprepared for God's mission.
Someone helped guide you toward Christ. Now God is calling you to do the same for others. Stop assuming someone else will speak. Stop waiting for the perfect moment. Pray, prepare, and engage.

PRAYER
Father, I receive open eyes to the people around me who are spiritually lost. Help me to live in a way that honors Christ and points others to Him. I receive a deeper knowledge of Your Word and the courage to speak the truth with love. Use my life to guide others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
