TOPIC: LIFE WORTHY OF THE LORD

PREPARATORY QUESTION
Does the way you live each day reflect the Lord you claim to follow?
When Apostle Paul prayed for the believers in Colosse, he desired that their faith would be visible through the way they conducted their lives. His prayer was not simply that they would know about God, but that they would live in a manner worthy of the Lord.
To walk worthy of the Lord means to live in a way that accurately represents Christ. It is allowing our words, choices, attitudes, relationships, and priorities to align with the One we follow. A believer's life becomes a reflection of the value placed on Christ.
Paul was not calling believers to earn God's acceptance through good behavior. Rather, he was reminding them that those who have received God's grace should live in a way that honors that grace. Our conduct is not the foundation of our relationship with God; it is the evidence of a transformed heart.
A life worthy of the Lord is a life that seeks to please Him in every area. It is seen in integrity when no one is watching, humility when recognition is available, forgiveness when offenses occur, and obedience when God's ways challenge our preferences.
Walking worthy also means recognizing that our lives are a witness. People encounter the message of Christ not only through our words but through the way we live. A consistent Christian life gives credibility to the gospel we proclaim.
Restoration requires more than moments of spiritual passion; it requires a daily surrender that shapes our conduct. God desires believers whose private lives and public lives agree, whose devotion is not limited to gatherings but is demonstrated in everyday decisions.
