TOPIC: FAITH THAT MOVES FORWARD

PREPARATORY QUESTION
Is there an area where God is calling you to take a step of faith instead of remaining where you are?
There are moments when prayer must be followed by action. Israel stood at the Red Sea with the Egyptian army behind them and an impossible barrier before them. Fear froze the people, but God gave Moses a surprising command: “Move on.” The sea had not yet parted, yet God expected His people to advance in faith.
Faith does not deny reality; it chooses to trust God's word above what circumstances suggest. The Israelites saw an obstacle. God saw an opportunity to reveal His power. Their responsibility was not to figure out how the sea would open but to obey the instruction they had been given.
Many believers miss God's best because they wait for certainty before they obey. Yet throughout Scripture, God often reveals the next step only after His people take the first one. Obedience opens the door for God's intervention. When we act on His Word, we discover that His grace is always sufficient for the path He has called us to walk.
Moving forward does not mean acting recklessly or depending on human confidence. It means responding to God's direction with trust, even when every detail is not yet visible. The God who commands us to move is the same God who goes before us. He never calls His children into a place where His presence and power cannot sustain them.
Do not allow fear, past disappointments, or unanswered questions to keep you standing still. When God has spoken, the safest place is the path of obedience.

PRAYER
Father, thank You for leading me even when the way is not fully clear. Give me the courage to obey Your voice without hesitation. Help me to trust Your promises above my fears and to move forward with confidence, knowing that You go before me. May my obedience become a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
