TOPIC: STRENGTH THROUGH WAITING

PREPARATORY QUESTION
How do you respond when God's timing is different from your expectations?
Waiting is one of God's greatest classrooms. We often view it as a delay, but God uses it as a season of preparation. While we are eager for answers, He is shaping our character. While we focus on the destination, He is developing the person who will arrive there.
Isaiah declares that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. This waiting is not passive resignation but active trust. It is choosing to remain confident in God's wisdom even when circumstances seem unchanged. It is continuing to obey when results are not yet visible and refusing to abandon faith because the timeline is longer than expected.
Those who rush ahead of God often exchange lasting blessings for temporary satisfaction. Yet those who wait on Him discover that His timing never lacks purpose. Every unanswered prayer, every closed door, and every season of uncertainty becomes an opportunity to deepen dependence on Him. God prepares His servants before He promotes them and strengthens their faith before He entrusts them with greater responsibility.
Waiting also reveals where our confidence truly rests. If our peace disappears when progress slows, we may have placed our hope in outcomes rather than in God. But when our confidence is anchored in His character, we can remain steady, knowing that He is working even when we cannot see it.
Do not measure God's activity by visible progress alone. The Lord is never idle. Even in silence, He is arranging circumstances, refining motives, and preparing blessings that will arrive at the appointed time.

PRAYER
